Carolyn was born on August 21, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY, to parents Marion and Alfred Ullman. In support of her husband, Carolyn and the family moved to Florida in 1972 to start a new business and new life. While raising her children, Carolyn, also thrived as an bookkeeper in Anthony’s construction business. After Anthony’s passing, she continued to raise and support her family as a single mother working full-time for Spherion. She continued to excel in payroll department for more than 20 years.
Carolyn was dedicated to her family and a loving mother and grandmother. She married Anthony on May 15, 1971, and together, the couple raised 6 children.
Carolyn was a social and active woman who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching the Miami Dolphins on Sundays while shouting at the TV for them to play better, and took pleasure in reading a good mystery book. She would do anything to get on a cruise, and in general, she loved a good vacation as long as the family was together. She became deeply involved in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, which helped restore joy to her life after the loss of loved ones.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a supportive and caring person. She will deeply be missed by anyone that has known her.
For anyone who would wish to pay respect to Carolyn, there will be a wake held at Kraeer Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 16th from 5pm to 8pm, located at 200 West Copans Road in Pompano Beach. A funeral is scheduled for Carolyn on Wednesday August 17th, at 11am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Coral Springs, with a burial service at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
