

Clarence Charles (Sandy) Sanscrainte, Jr. died on Nov. 5, 2014 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL due to complications from pneumonia. He was 89. Mr. Sanscrainte was born on August 3, 1925 in Buffalo, NY to his parents, Clarence Charles, Sr. and Margaret Schmidt Sanscrainte. He graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY after serving as Radio Man / 3rd Class in the U.S. Navy in WWII the Pacific Theatre from 1943-1946. He married Janice Wirges Sanscrainte in May 1950. The Sanscraintes moved to Pompano Beach, FL in 1958. The Sanscraintes were one of the founding families of St. Coleman Catholic
Church in 1958. Mr. Sanscrainte’s career in the HVAC industry spanned over 50 years where he developed builder sales relationships for ANTCO, Day & Night, Whirlpool Corp. and Air Cond. Equipment Inc. Mr. Sanscrainte also served as a Florida State Lobbyist for Florida Home Builders in Tallahassee for several years. Mr. Sanscrainte also served for 8 years with Citizens on Patrol for the Broward Sheriff's Office out of Oakland Park District 12. Mr. Sanscrainte is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marcy and Chuck Meyer of Pompano Bch, FL; his son and daughter-in-law, Clarence Charles (Ren) III and Dina Sanscrainte of Melbourne, FL; his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Julie Sanscrainte of Deerfield Bch, FL; his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Todd Faber of Pompano Bch, FL; his brother, Willard Sanscrainte of Buffalo, NY; 8 grandchildren, Missy, Jason, Justin, Craig Jr., Jourdan,
Danika, Shay and Caitlyn; and 3 great grandchildren, Blake, Brent, and Devyn. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice; his brother, Jack Sanscrainte; and his sister, Jeanne Moore. Memorial Service 6-8pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 North Federal Hwy, Pompano Bch. Funeral Mass at St. Coleman Church, 1200 S. Federal Hwy, Pompano Bch., on Friday, November 28 at 10am. Immediately following the Mass, Military
