

Colleen was born in Kingston, Jamaica, to Daisy Evadne Stampp and Ivan L. Stampp on January 5, 1930. She attended Holy Cross School in Jamaica and later graduated from Hostos Community College in the Bronx, New York. On January 17, 1950, she married Arnold Joseph Davis in Kingston, Jamaica.
Throughout her career, Colleen served as a health professional in various roles at several institutions, including Unity and Woodhull Hospitals in New York. She was also deeply involved in church-affiliated organizations at The Anglican-Episcopal Church of the Atonement in Florida, including the Episcopal Cursillo Ministry, The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK), Episcopal Church Women (ECW), Mothers' Union, and the Arts and Crafts group. She received numerous awards and acknowledgments for her commitment and service, including the Excellence Award presented to her and Arnold by The Church of the Atonement.
Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Davis; her mother, Daisy Stampp; her father, Ivan Stampp; her son-in-law, Edward Allison; her son-in-law, Harry Hance; her brother, Richard Stampp; her grandmother, Martha Hall; and her grandfather, Walter Hall.
Colleen is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Jennifer L. Davis-Allison, Janet M. and James Garcia, Carol M. Woods, and Beverly Hance; six grandsons and their respective partners; eleven great-grandchildren; her brothers, Howard Stampp and Burnett Stampp; and her sister, Ileen Stampp.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at Forest Lawn North. We'll be joined by Reverend Maxim Pape.
The Celebration of Life service will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, at Forest Lawn North Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, with Father Earl F. Henry officiating. Interment will follow.
The family of Colleen Davis wishes to extend sincere thanks to the dedicated team of VITAS Hospice professionals who supported her throughout the last year.
The family is also grateful to the thoughtful health professionals who provided Colleen with compassion, care, and companionship, with special thanks to Ketna Raphael and Armide Joseph.
The family offers heartfelt appreciation to Georgina "Gigi" Bissainthe for her steadfast care and love. Gigi, you will remain forever in our hearts.
