Daphne Mullings

While in Kingston, Daphne got married and this union produced one son, Errol Ward. In 1957, while working at Morin’s Sports Store in Kingston, Daphne met her beloved second husband, Sydney. On May 15, 1958, Daphne and Sydney got married and they produced two (2) children, Kim and Roger.

Daphne and her three (3) children migrated to the United States in 1978, after which Sydney later joined his family. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and baking Christmas cakes.

In August 2010, Daphne’s health severely declined. On October 7, 2011, the Lord opened His arms and welcomed home one of His children.

Daphne is survived by her beloved family: Sydney Mullings (husband); Kim Mullings-Forde (daughter); Errol Ward (son); Roger Mullings (son); Angela Holahan (niece); Tiffany and Gillian Recas (cousins); Sydney Mullings, Junior Mullings , and Leighton Anderson (nephews), Hollis Forde (son-in-law), and a host of other Nieces; Nephews, Cousins, relatives and friends.

Sweet is the fragrance of remembrance. May her soul rest in peace.
