    So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Sending prayers for the family. Just know, he is in a lot better place now as is our mom who passed away 1 year ago.

I was sorry to hear of your fathers passing, though not surprised at the ripe old age of 83. He enjoyed a good long run, I'm sure.  We ran around together in a good group of friends in high school and had a lot of fun together. Those days are still sweet memories for me. Knowing Dave and Mary Kay helped make those memories. Dave gave me my first job in his Hardware Store over 40 years ago.  I still remember to this day what a outstanding man, and employer he was.  

I truly regret not keeping in touch with him, or his son John.  A lot a good memories and good times resulted with my experience with them !

Dave and I were in the same high school class.  My parents knew each other and my brother and Pete graduated HS together.  I saw Dave at our 50 and I think another reunion following that. I have so many beautiful memories with Papa Dave.  I remember the sunny days of going on pontoon rides at Lake Columbia and the tropical family dinners in Florida. Papa Dave always leveled out the family with his cool demeanor. He was always patient and kind. I will very much miss his warm heart and beautiful smile. You will forever be in my memories!

I know he's with the Angels and his loved ones who have crossed before him. He was a beautiful soul from all Ive heard about him.
