

Rushlow, David – Born in 1947, David was the son of Bonnie and Philip Rushlow. He is survived by his father, Philip Rushlow, brother, Lee Rushlow of Ashville, North Carolina, nieces Melissa Rhinehardt of Lighthouse Point and Tracy Nick of Deerfield Beach.
Having successfully accomplished the goals of this lifetime, David moved on toward his next challenge in September, 2010. Cited as one of "America’s Best and Brightest” in national media, David’s lifetime career included founding and serving as Creative Partner with one of the nation’s more successful advertising agencies.
He was an accomplished graphic designer, writer, painter, photographer, and lyricist. He loved to ski, fish, and SCUBA dive. He was an avid horseman, boater and pilot who also served as mayor of Lazy Lake for ten terms. David traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada. As a young man, he was a champion swimmer who put his talent to good use as a lifeguard on Nantucket Island.
A 1965 graduate of Fort Lauderdale High School, he attended the University of Florida and earned his B.A. degree at Florida Atlantic University. Intelligent and well-read, David was especially proud of the large library amassed at his Islamorada, Florida home.
A celebration of David's life will be held in his honor on Monday, September 6, 2010 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, Fl 33064.
