Douglas Keith Christie

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas “Doug” Christie, who left us peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on August 17, 1947, in Schenectady, New York, Doug was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend whose warmth and sense of humor touched all who knew him.

Doug was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

He was the proud father of three children: Christopher Christie and his wife Suzette Thompson, Jessica Stills and her husband Richard Stills, and the late Jason Christie. He was also the loving grandfather of Kaydin and Emma Stills. Nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his family.Doug was one of four siblings and shared a bond with his sister Barbara and his brothers Harry and Bruce

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Debbie, and his son, Jason Christie, both of whom he carried in his heart every day. Doug loved to have fun, and his playful spirit and infectious smile will be deeply missed.

Doug leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty. His presence made the world a brighter place, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
