1927-2013
Born just before the Depression, she was a woman ahead of the times. In an age when many women were content to be homemakers, she worked for several years before meeting her soul-mate, James. Instead of rushing to start a family, they both cared for her younger brother and a nephew. When the time came for the family to grow, she made her family a priority, but was also able to balance that with her career, all this in the 1960's.
She is survived by many family members – both by blood and by choice, and friend, who all love her, miss her but are thankful for the positive influence she made on their lives.
As a tribute to her, please try and continue her spirit by doing something positive, something good, for those who you meet along your life's path.
