

Elizabeth Ann (Hall) Billings was born Jan. 1920 and died Nov. 30, 2011. A woman of extreme energy and love. Her 91 years were spent in service to her family and church. She was a woman of exceptional strength, integrity and pride. Her accomplishments included raining 2 children, 3 grandchildren and aiding in the raising of 6 great-grandchildren. She demonstrated her leadership skills as President of the GFS of the Diocese of Pa. ( an international religious organization of the Episcopal Church), and President of the Oakland Park Review Club of Philadelphia. As a nurse she utilized her skills tending her family and friends. As a mother she was our strength; Her encouragement and drive allowed us the self confidence to believe that everything was within our reach.
“When a man dies he clutches in his hands only what he has given away during his lifetime.” (J.J. Rousseau) Elizabeth died with both hands over flowing.
We love you mother, grandma and nanny and are richer for your guidance and love. Good night my love; sleep in the peace of eternal love. I love you…… I love you most.
Viewing will be 7-9:00 on Monday Dec. 5 and mass will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church at 1700 East Oakland Park Blvd. On Tues Dec. 6 at 11:00
