Elizabeth Sommer Canfield

"Bett" was born on August 5th, 1938 in Peoria IL to Mark and Mabelle Sommer. She married Charles “Chuck” Canfield on December 27th 1957. They were together as devoted loving companions for 61 Years until Chuck passed on October 31st 2019. Bett was a devoted wife and mother. She was very active in PEO and enjoyed making beautiful quilts for family and friends. Her passions included Mexican train dominoes and book clubs as she was an avid reader.

Bett is survived by her children, Barbara, Bruce, John and Jeffrey. She is preceded in death by her son Michael(1969-1981). She is also blessed to be survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Elizabeth Sommer Canfield was interred next to her husband and son at a graveside service held by Kraeer Funeral Services at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Pompano Beach Florida on April 9th 2022.
