Elizabeth Selig Durham, born Dec 15, 1918, came to Ft Lauderdale in 1925 from Kansas. She graduated from Ft Lauderdale Central High School in 1937, after which she attended Kansas State University and Florida State College for Women. In 1939, she married Harold Durham, a US Navy pilot. She is survived by her three children, Jim, Lynn Lynch, and Larry; and numerous, grand-, great-grand-, and great-great-grandchildren. Elizabeth was a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood – Chapter BK. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution – Estahakee Chapter.
Visitation will be Fri, Nov 21 from 4pm to 6pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Pompano Beach, with Funeral Service following Sat, Nov 22 at 11am, also at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Final Resting Place will be Lauderdale Memorial Gardens, Ft Lauderdale. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Elizabeth’s name to your favorite charity.
