I will always remember Uncle Steve’s kindness. One particular memory is him helping me pass my sewing class in junior high school by teaching me sewing methods that even my teacher seemed not to know! Another memory was that when I was feeling down as a child, he seemed to sense it intuitively, and always would tell me at those times that I was beautiful, just when I needed it most. He will be missed. 

I had the pleasure to meet Tio ( as we fondly called Don Esteban) when my mother was about to move to Whisper Walk. I was so happy to have met this helpful, warm and kindhearted new neighbor who happened to be from my country! My mother and Amadeo met him and Rosealba . They helped my mother to get used to her new home by being so warm and welcoming, and I will forever be grateful of it. I will never forget the last time I saw Tio in a party where he was dancing and showed his love for life and that’s how I want to remember him . I was so fortunate to have met him ❤️. To Rosealba and their children I want to say that I’m so sorry for your loss; sorry that you are going through so much pain. Abrazos. 

Esteban had a unique power to be able to make you smile, if not laugh out loud, when talking to him. You felt happy. Esteban’s words lifted you up.  He had that ability, when one was in  his company, to make them feel that they were the only one in the room.  That is special.  More so, that is rare. A very nice, very kind man with an optimistic spirit we should all aspire to.

Rosa and I extend deepest condolences while also realizing there is a true celebration of life to be had.  Our thoughts are with Rosealba and the entire Rosario family.


Dear Mommy,

David and I are heartbroken that Poppi is no longer with us. His smile said it all! That he loved God, his wife and family, and embraced life to the fullest. I’ll miss his hugs!  He will be forever in our thoughts. And you Rose, forever in our prayers. Much love, Diane and David.
