I am deeply saddened by Gene's passing. Gene was my first roommate at college at Oglethorpe, both of us were freshmen. Gene had a zest for life then. I knew his daughters when they were young, and his mother and father. We water skiied in Boca when we should have been in classes, had great times together playing intramural sports, and belonged to the Rudd Social Club at OU. Great times. Miss you Gene! Paul

Jen & Kerri,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know words and condolences don't seem like much, however, I send them with the utmost respect.

I happened to stop by the Oakwood HD today and ran into Diego and he informed me to what happened and my heart goes out to his entire family!!!

I met Gene at the Pompano Beach HD on his first day of work back in 1997. Let's just say we both have a funny story about that day!! He was always a good and caring person and we used to joke around a lot!

Gene - Thanks for the Memories, the Parties and the Good Times!
