Evelyn M. Hill

Hill, Evelyn Mulkey Armstrong age 90 of Pompano Beach, FL went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 11th, 2012. Born in Georgia she moved with her parents in 1929 to Pompano Beach. Her father owned an auto dealership in the 1930’s and 40’s on Dixie Hwy. She was a 1939 graduate of Pompano Beach High School and later worked for the Broward Hospital District from 1963 until her retirement in 1986, mostly in the admitting office. Preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt and Bess Mulkey, two brothers, and her son, William Armstrong, she is survived by her daughters: Linda Armstrong Wallace, Cheryl (George) Browning, and Becky (Larry) Philips; by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and by her sister, Angie Cheshire. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, March 15th from 6-8pm. The funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 16th at 2:00pm followed by interment at the Pompano Beach Cemetery.
