I will miss you greatly Mom.  You were a bright light and made everyone around you so much better!  I’ll cherish all the wonderful times we shared.  

It feels like the end of an era for the Pitcher family now that both my mother and father are together in heaven. They were perfect for each other and cared about each other deeply. 

My mother was one of a kind with such style and grace but also a sense of humor.  She was an amazing cook and was a very independent person. 

She was very devoted to family and adored her grandchildren. She quit school early so she could provide for her siblings as they lived in abject poverty.  

Mom almost made it to celebrate her 97th birthday on July 4th. My family was blessed to have her in our lives for so many years.

She was at peace during her last days in hospice and was recalling happy memories, laughing and smiling. 

She is survived by her children: George Pitcher, Linda Limerick, John Pitcher, Joseph Pitcher and Nancy Scricca and her grandchildren Jessica  Pitcher, Melissa Pitcher, Ricky Scricca and Elena Scricca. 
Mom’s surviving siblings include: Edith, John      and Harold.

Her devoted husband George Pitcher, beloved nieces Christina Pitcher and Denise (Limerick) Trathen pre-deceased my mother but are now together again.
Mom’s siblings already in Heaven include: Margie, Charlie, Godfrey (Joe) and Jerry.

Mrs. Pitcher always inquired about me and the well-being of my family. She was sincere, genuine, kind, and fun.  I'll always remember her warm smile, the twinkle in her eye, easy laugh, and how she made me feel a part of her family. We have one of her recipes and affectionately call it "Pitcher pasta." Hers was a well-lived life. I'm grateful that I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her as a mother figure and friend. She'll be missed. Well done God's good and faithful servant, enter into God's eternal joy!
