Ms. Ida "Ginny" Von Gruningen Ellerman Doyle passed away on June 29, 2013 at Williamsburg Manor in Fort Lauderdale, Florida approximately one month shy of her one hundred and fourth birthday. Ida was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Von Gruningen, her mother, Ida Von Gruningen and her sister, Renee Von Gruningen Boles. She is survived by one niece, Dr. Renee M. Douglas of North Carolina.
Ida worked and lived in New York, for a number of years and retired in Florida. Her closest relative, Dorothy Irene Sartori Mussorfiti resided in New York and the two remained close until her death. There will be no viewing, visitation nor any graveside service as per her request.
