I have thought of Irene a lot this Christmas. She always called about her gift when she received it and usually sent me a bunch of Honey Bells. I missed that talk this year. I hung 3 felt stockings on my tree that she made while on a cruise in her 80s. She made 100s of crafts with those cruisers and I'm sure many of them cherish items she taught them to make while they traveled the world. I also remember our trips to Buckroe Beach when Howard was alive. We always stayed at a cabin on the beach and enjoyed Howard's catch of the day following a day of fun on the beach. Irene was a no nonsense Aunt but that is what I loved about her. As I made Christmas napkins this year, I thought of her beautiful sewing skills. I still have jewelry that she made and a Quillow on my sofa. I treasure all the times we shared and all the things she taught me. She will be sorely missed. Now I have a crafty guardian angel. I love you Irene.

My grandmother MEMA, of 98 years passed away on 12/03/2019. Very sad day for my entire family in so many ways. She had an amazing life. She never let me or my brother, Scott, and my cousin Kelly( god bless her- deceased) get by with any shannigans when we were at her house. Mema is surived by two wonderful children, Gwen Wells, my mother and Everette Nichols, my uncle and has 2 sisters still with us, Marion Tibbs and Rachel Nash. (Lois you are in our hearts.) And I will never forget how every time we had ice cream, soft serve especially at Disney that we always spilled it on us. Love you Mema always! So many more memories to share and that you were the best at matching oufits, always looking great! Too much to say about a wonderful caring Mema! God Bless
