Italia was born in Campofelice Di Roccella, Silicy, Italy on April 12, 1930 to Giovanni and Rosa Catanese.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 47 years, Antonio; daughter, Maria (Jon) Gaffer; sons, Franco (Rita) Filippone, Giovanni (Paulette) Filippone; granddaughters, Bianca and Sofia Filippone; siblings, Rosario (Josphine) Catanese, Domenica Romana; nieces; nephew; and loving family.
The family will recieve friends Friday, July 8, 2011, 2-4 and 6-8pm at Forest Lawn North Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 9, 2011, 2pm at the funeral home.
