I had the great privilege of serving under Jackson’s leadership in the Christs’s Ambassadors Youth Choir for two years. Jackson made each of us feel so incredibly safe and cared for. He also had the sweetest sense of humor and a mature wisdom.  He was a rare light for Christ in a dark world. 

Jackson taught me many things. In brief, he taught me what it means to lead and serve. He introduced me to 70’s classic rock and taught me how to throw a frisbee. Jackson showed me what it means to be a faithful servant to one’s church. He always encouraged me to try new things and be adventurous. He gave me an example of Christ- like integrity.

 Jackson encouraged each of us but most importantly he inspired us to love God and love others well.  We will continue to be inspired by his life and legacy. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was one of Jackson's Professors in the ME program. He took my Machine Design course in the Spring and did very well. He often came to my office and lab, even after FAU closed because of Corona, and he was a great student who deserved a much longer life.  i wish we had more students with such dedication. I have his design project report in my office [paper copy] in case someone in his family would like to keep it. 

On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Department of Ocean and Mechanical Engineering, FAU, I am writing to express our deep heartfelt sympathies for Jackson's family. We are all so sorry for this tragic loss of a young promising  life. By all accounts, Jackson was an excellent student, conscientious, diligent and kind. He will be sadly missed.  

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

I remember when Jackson was born. It was fun hearing about the homeschooling exploits and scouting achievements over the years. Best of all was seeing his love for the Lord and servant's heart— singing with New Presbyterian Church’s youth/young adult choir, helping with Vacation Bible School, running the church audio board on Sunday mornings with his dad and sometimes on his own. 

John and Carol Sue, Jackson will be missed but not forgotten! May God continue to surround you, and Carrie and Curt, with His presence and comfort you in the days ahead. 

Jackson was a wonderful young man with a heart of gold. He was a leader in our youth choir and a big help to his dad in setting up audio and video for our church services each Sunday.  He always had a smile on his face.  He will be deeply missed! Love and prayers to all the Quarquesso family....
