

is survived by her children, William J. Kinnear, III and Colleen A. Kinnear-Black, their spouses
Maureen Kinnear and James Black, and her grandchildren, Caitlin G. Kinnear and Carly A.
Black. She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, William J. Kinnear, Jr. and her siblings
Patricia Rega and John Jacobus.
Jackie was bom in Orange, New Jersey on June 16,1936. She graduated from Orange
High School after pursuing interests in English, twirling, and church groups.
She met Bill Kinnear at her first full time job after high school and they were married
October 6,1957. They raised their children in Middletown, New Jersey, with relatives close by
and seen often. Mrs. Kinnear was a wonderful homemaker, accomplished cook and an avid
volunteer at school, clubs and meals on wheels. She pursued interests in flowers, music and art
and enjoyed memorable family vacations.
In 1983, the Kinnears moved full-time to Pompano Beach. Their children re-located to
South Florida shortly after. Together the couple enjoyed golfing, traveling and dining out.
In 2002, Jackie, known to her grandkids as "Mickey," first became a joyous grandparent.
Her home became a place for comfort, treats, and few rules. She adopted the phrase; "What
happens at Mickey's stays at Mickey's"
Jackie was surrounded with loving relatives and neighbors, with whom she spent
meaningful time by phone and in person. Her caring and warmth will be missed by all who had
the pleasure to know her.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on November 4, 2017, at Kraeer Funeral Home,
200 North Federal Highway, Pompano Beach. Visiting with the family starts any time after 11
a.m. there.
