James Richard Jacobs

James "Jim" Richard Jacobs passed away on Monday, October 10th, 2022 in Orlando, Florida. Jim was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 10th, 1950 to Helen and Paul Jacobs, and leaves us now as a beloved husband, father,brother,uncle and friend. Jim had a kind heart and a lifelong love of learning. He was a proud coin collector and history-buff, and also spent much of his time doing puzzles, telling jokes, and excitedly reporting the latest astronomy news. In addition to his family and friends, Jim loved dogs and children, and thought a positive attitude was the key ingredient to any successful endeavor. Jim will be missed dearly by his wife Anita Jacobs, their children Paula, Mervin(Maritza); his brother, Terrence Jacobs; his nieces and nephews, and everyone else who had the joy of knowing him.

A visitation for James will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A funeral service will occur Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 11:30 AM, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A committal service will occur Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
