Jenni also leaves behind to cherish her memory, her Aunti Shay, Uncle Dave and Aunt Mary, Uncle Arni and Aunt Lynn and a host of cousins and extended family.
In Jenni’s heart her close friends were also her family and everyone who knew her will miss her dearly. Jenni’s light began to shine on this earth on May 14, 1981 and after her first three years in her birth home in Lauderhill, Florida we moved to her childhood home in Deerfield Beach where she spent the next 16 years in that home learning, growing and developing many close relationships that she has kept and cherished throughout the years. Jenni attended Deerfield Beach Elementary, Middle and High school and graduated in 1999.
Immediately following high school Jenni attended Palm Beach State College for the next 2 years. As a child,Jenni enjoyed gymnastics, ice skating, cheerleading and always dancing. From her first job at My favorite muffin, to her position as a Purchasing Administrator and Contract Negotiator, to the General manager at the Fish Peddler East, Jenni has always given every ounce of her energy, professionalism and care into getting the job done right. Jenni enjoyed working in various positions in her younger years and some of her favorite places she worked were at John Casablancas, Champs Americana’s, and Sleepy’s International’s .
Jenni worked for a short time on the fish counter in our Fish market before she decided at the age of 24 to spread her wings and move to New York City. Fortunately she was able to go to work for Sleepy’s in New York City, and worked for them for several years before moving to West Virginia and pursuing a career and passion in Purchasing and Procurement. Jenni thoroughly enjoyed her positions as a Project Consultant-Buyer/Contract Administrator at such companies as CTG USA/Essroc Italcementi and C&H Industrial in Martinsburg, Va.
At the same time Jenni was working full time she also worked hard to earn her Associates of Arts and her Bachelors of Business Administration degrees, and she Graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2013. Jenni was a Member of the American purchasing society and the National Associations of Women in Construction. Jenni worked hard to advance her career, and her professional knowledge and abilities, and when she was in between contract positions in Martinsburg, Virginia and was needed by her family back here in Fort Lauderdale, she offered to come back home. Jenni became the General manager of our store and along with all of her friends, both in West Virginia and Florida, she will be missed dearly by our staff.
Jenni loved the outdoors, whether it was boating, going to the beach or being involved in marathons. Jenni was a member of, and participated in mud runs and mud challenges with Karma Athletes, where many of their events were to benefit local charities. Those days being involved with Karma were some of the happiest days of her life. She made so many friends that she cherished. Jenni loved sushi, she love cooking, eating, entertaining and dancing. She loved helping people in any way that she could and she loved to create a Good Surprise.
What made Jenni the happiest was to see the people she loved smiling and happy; especially if they were having Fun. When Jenni left this world she took with her apart of our hearts and many hearts of those who love her. She left behind a lifetime of memories and her Beautiful loving spirit will remain with us until the moment we reunite with her in heaven.
