
Jenny Gaudier, daughter of Joseph Sochacki and Antonia Bauer of New York City passed away on June 17, at the age of 99 years in Pompano Beach, FL where she had lived for the past 40 years. Born March 5, 1914 in Astoria, Queens, NY. She was predeceased by her sister Stella and her husband Al Butler and brother Edward and his wife Margie Sochacki both of Queens, NY.
She was married in 1934 to banker Leo Gaudier of New York City and soon thereafter moved to the Bronx, NY where she was a homemaker and later worked at Alexander’s Dept. Store first as a saleslady and then rising to the position of supervisor in Ladies Apparel.
She is survived by her son; Robert and wife Sandra Gaudier of Knightdale, NC and her daughter Carol and husband John Petri of Brookfield, CT., five grandchildren, Janice and husband Brian Williams and Pamela and husband Eddie Lechuga of Raleigh, NC, John and wife Debbie Killen of New Rochelle, NY, Carolyn and husband Michael Panzarino of Wingdale, NY and Scot Killen of New Milford, CT and nine great grandchildren, Erik, Erin, Brooke, Elaine, Glynnis, Morgan, Michael, Matthew and Brian.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 20th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m with a Prayer Service at 3:30pm at Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 200 North Federal Highway, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 Phone: 954-941-4111.
