I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry for about forty years as one of his employees, a co-worker and as a friend. Jerry was one of the nicest people that I have ever known. I will miss him very much and only wish that we had spent more time together.

Our condolences to his mom, Hazel, and to his children, Jim, Jerry, Karen and Ann Marie.

Steve and I go back a long way with Jerry and Steve had the pleasure of being hired to WM by Jerry. We had some great and fun times and our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family at this time. Jerry is making things colorful and fun in heaven!

Jerry Veach was one of the most memorable and colorful characters I have ever come across in this business (the accounting business) in my entire career. I learned more from him in the short twelve years I was at Waste Management between 1974 and 1986 than I ever learned from anyone else. I offer my sincere condolences to his family in this time. He was a great man and is larger than life in my memory.

Jerry was a good guy and so much fun. After 8 years in Texas and the birth of our first daughter, Jerry pulled strings to help me get back closer to family in Florida.

Jerry Veach, one of the originals and a great character. He made some of the more stressful times, bearable with his quick wit and dry humor! He was always open and sharing and I am so sad to learn of his passing. He, his family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jerry was such a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of working with him in the ‘80’s. He was the most colorful “numbers guy” I’ve ever known. Many fond memories. May he rest.

My deepest sympathy goes to Jerry's family and friends. I remember Jerry in the old days of WM, friendly, never too busy to stop and say hello or visit. Made you feel like you belonged.
