Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Johnson; and he is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Debbie; sons, Christopher King and Sean King; and siblings, Richard King, William King, Edna Fields, and Sandra Cosgrove.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00am at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1401 Coral Ridge Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33071. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Johnny's name to the Sylvester Comprehensive Center Development Department, PO Box 016960 (M-867), Miami, FL 33101.
Johnny had a gentle heart and was a kind and loving husband and a devoted father to Christopher and Sean. His passion was his music. He will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure and privilege of calling him their friend. He was taken far too early.
We will miss you, Johnny.
