

Lileith Albertha Henry was born on April 15, 1938 in Kingston, Jamaica, to Mother, Gladys May Walters and Father, Stewart. She departed this life on Friday, April 6, 2018 at home due to natural causes.
Lileith graduated from Alpha Academy and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Education.
Lileith was married to Caleb Alberto Henry in 1963.
Lileith worked as a Legal Secretary at Judah Denoes Law Firm, and the Jamaica Broadcasting Corporation. Lileith joined Food for the Poor June, 1999 where she was a Prayer Partner and Campaign Advisor for 19 years. Lileith developed relationships with her donors, calling to thank them for their gifts, responding to prayer requests and encouraging their participation in special fund-raising events and maintaining and enhancing knowledge of Food for the Poor’s programs, projects, and countries of operation. Lileith had a deep passion for the children of poverty and made it her personal mission to tell their plight to each donor she would speak with. While employed by Food for the Poor, the organization received over 8,548 gifts from donors she touched generating over $1,334,787 on behalf of the poor.
Lileith was a prayer warrior, always willing to pray for you. Her life was founded, built and lived on prayer. She was the recipient of many prayer testimonies from donors and co-workers. We will always admire Lileith for her strength of Character and her faith. She is loved dearly by her coworkers and has truly left a gap in their hearts.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Mignott, Lesley Franco, Marcia Smith Faustin, and Albert Augustus Smith, 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. The Grandchildren are Morgan Alyse Assadi-Mignott, Alcia Smith, Kerry-Ann Smith Kelly-Ann Smith, Sandre Smith Cedric Smith Kishane Smith, Kuffy-Hi Smith. Great Grandchildren Romelo Ricketts, Liam Ramsay, Kazai Flemings, Dashawn Mullings and Shawn Mullings. Cousins Phyllis Alleyne, Doreen Hatcher, Natalie McIsaacs-Lindo, Sasha Kay-Lindo, Zachary Lindo, Nicole McIsaacs, Cliff McIsaacs, Cliff McIsaacs Jr., and Jason McIsaacs.
