Lisa Lynn Simko

Lisa was born in Patterson, NJ to Lester and Gisela Simko on April 21, 1967. She went to school for computer sciences and graduated from Berkeley College (NJ). She was known for her big heart, warm smile, and gentle spirit. She worked at the local grocery store, where her friendly face and caring nature made her a beloved part of the community.

She shared her life with her devoted partner, Dave Modlin, whose love and support were constants in her life. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and their beloved dogs, Jessie and Molly, that Lisa cared for and adored.

Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Gisela Simko, and is survived by her brother, Steven Simko (wife), niece Katelyn Simko, and her loving father, Lester Simko. She will forever be held in the hearts of her loving boyfriend Dave, her family, and a close-knit group of friends and coworkers who will deeply miss her good-hearted nature, company, and loyalty. Lisa’s legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

A visitation will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home @ Forest Lawn Funeral Home, located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL, 33064, on April 11, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at the same venue on April 12, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Lisa’s name to a local animal rescue organization
