John and I are so sorry for the loss of Louie. He will always be remembered. He had a great Heart and Lou and Carol were very generous to everyone. We are saddened by this. But even though God has called him to be with him. Lou will always be with all of us. Peace   The Isoldi  Family

I speak from the heart for my father and mother Nick and Marge Petrillo and my entire family Louie was HUGE part of our lives.  Dad, mom and I followed Louis and Carol to Florida along with many of the rest of the Petrillo family. Louis and Carol were the rock which the Petrillo's rallied around.  Thanks to his family for having our reunion last year so we had that time to share love and life with him. He will be missed I will keep all my precious memories of him with me forever and continue to share them with my family.  We send love to Carol and the entire family. It's been 8 days and I think I speak for everyone when I say: We all miss Poppy and his jokes so much I know he is still with us this Christmas and every day after. He was an amazing man, a mentor to most, a protector to everyone he loved and the light to my grandmother's life for almost 65 years. May we all be so lucky to know a love like theirs. I am blessed to have spent the time I did with him and for the memories I will carry with me and share with Isabella. This Christmas, make sure to appreciate the time you have with those you love! Tomorrow is not guaranteed. Life is precious. Don't let the little things destroy your relationships. Forgiveness is one of the most important lessons Poppy taught me. May we all embrace his positive way of living and embrace today with our families and friends! May we all carry with us that big bright and beautiful smile he was known for and celebrate life and love today! Merry Christmas!

Yesterday we lost a legend. He was one of the hardest working men I have ever met. He bought his first bobcat as a teenager and never looked back. Working his whole life till the age of 82. I owe my work ethic to working with him throughout my life. He was not a man who needed a lot of money or fancy things. While he did enjoy some of the finer things in life, he worked to take care of his family and friends. He would rather spend time with loved ones (or at the track) then work those extra hours for a few extra dollars. He has opened so many doors for the people around him to become successful. His leadership and stubborn attitude helped these people grow and become leaders themselves. While doing all of this he still managed time to be a husband, father, and grandfather. He has always taught me about life and how to be a good man. He showed me that I cannot take life to serious and to have fun. He always knew how to make people laugh and smile in any situation. His one liners will never be matched or duplicated. I can only hope to be as great of a man as he was. I really admire that he lived his life his way. He was not afraid to take risks to live a good life. He will be missed by many people. Thank you for all that you have taught me. Thank you for all that you have done for me. Thank you for molding me into the man I am today. Thank you for loving me for who I am and investing time in me. I hope I have made you proud. Not only were you my grandfather but you were also my best friend. It is an honor to call you POPPY.
I love you and miss you. Your legend will live on forever.
