

IRVIN, Marie 98 of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Grand Court Village, Pompano Beach, Florida. She was born on January 4, 1912 in Baltimore, Maryland and moved with her late husband to Pompano Beach, Florida in 1955. Marie was well known in this area and an accomplished seamstress, and for many years leading up to her retirement, did alterations for local clothing stores as well as private individuals. Late in life one of her favorite hobbies was ballroom dancing. She was a beloved mother, her shining smile and cheerful demeanor will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Irvin was preceded in death by her husband, John Adam Irvin, Sr. and a son, Franklin Kiser. She is survived by her sons, John (Cindy) Irvin, Jr. of Pompano Beach, FL and Stuart (Sherry) Irvin of La Port, IN and one granddaughter, Katelyn Irvin of Pompano Beach, FL. Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, 2010 one hour prior to a service held at 1:30 pm at KRAEER FUNERAL HOME, 200 N.
