

Marie Amelia Bell McGuire, 78, of Wake Forest, North Carolina, passed away on 07/01/2018. Marie was born in Barrington, New Jersey on 08/15/1939. She graduated from Audubon High School in Audubon, NJ and continued on to receive an Associate degree in Music from Combs College of Music.
Marie worked as a Piano Teacher and Church Musician for more than 40 years. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She was also actively involved in Broward County Music Teachers’ Association, serving as president, Florida State Music Teachers’ Association and in her parents’ missionary work at the Florida Bible Mission.
Marie is survived by her two daughters, Marie Attwood Reuter of Raleigh, NC and Michelle Attwood Whittemore of Rolesville, NC; five grandchildren, Catherine Grace Bielick of Boston, MA; Joshua Stephen Bielick of Durham, NC; Robert Stephen Attwood of Vero Beach, FL; Brandon Steven Benson of Rolesville, NC and Tyler Logan Benson also of Rolesville. Marie was predeceased by her parents, Rev. William S. Bell, DD and Margaret Elva Cheesman; her husband, James Edward McGuire and her son, Robert Stephen

The funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Kraeer Funeral Home located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach. Burial will follow the funeral at Pompano Beach Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Florida Bible Mission, c/o Bank of America.
The family also wishes to thank friends, former students and loved ones for reaching out to Mom in her final days to remind her that she was loved and remembered.
