I have been procrastinating writing this note, perhaps because doing so would make it real that Marlene is gone. I have known  Mike and Marlene since I was a little girl.  They were neighbors and I would knock on their door when I was locked out of my house, which was often.  Lol Marlene was always welcoming and warm when I would show up unannounced.  I remember when Sean was born, she let me take a peek at him in the crib.  Marlene was a doting mother.  She was the kind of person that made you feel loved, safe, and that you mattered. She was also a great listener!  Marlene has been in my family's life for over 40 years and she will be dearly missed.  Mike, I am so sorry .  I am thinking of you and sending you love. ♡  She was the best!

John and I are so saddened to hear of Marlene’s passing. I have fun memories going back to when she and I worked at JFK. John and I have fond memories on times long gone by that  we spent together. Our hearts go out to you.  Marlene was such a bright spot in this world. Many years  ago she told me “ God never gives you more than you can handle.” I have thought of her words at difficult times and always helped me get through.  We hope you feel God’s love at this most difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear that Marlene passed away. She and I grew up across the street from one another on New York’s Long Island. Marlene was always a sweet person and lots of fun. My heart goes out to you, Mike.  May your heart soon heal.

Mike,  the Byrne family is so very sorry about Marlene’s way too early passing. We all send our loving , caring condolences to you. For me , I will miss seeing her around the neighborhood walking the dog. Marlene always showed an interest of what was going on in the family and my kids. She always had an encouraging word. This past year , when I had breast cancer, she was kind and showed concern every time I saw her. Marlene was super encouraging and optimistic to me. We usually shared a lot in our many outside visits together!! I will really miss Marlene.
