It has been one year since she left us but it seems like yesterday.  We know that time heals all wounds so we will wait on time.

Grandma Walker, I had the pleasure and privilege to meet you recently at Renay & Eddie's home.  We had a lovely chat, and I was so blessed to have that opportunity to know your gentle, sweet spirit. Your sparkling eyes and joyful countenance have left a memorable impression on me. See you in heaven...:)  My deepest sympathies go to all your family and friends as your passing is grieved.

We thank Grandma Walker for the love and kindness she showed in welcoming the Chung family into her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Walker family. We hope the words of Rabindranath Tagore may help comfort you.

Grandma Walker, the matriarch of the Walker family, was loved by all. The legacy of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren exemplified the kind of person she was and the love that she passed down. She was a beautiful, caring person that will always be missed, but remembered with only the fondest memories.  I am personally thankful for the 14 years that I had the privilege of knowing her and becoming  a part of her family and life. God bless Grandma and the entire Walker family.

Ms Mavis ( Aunt Dottie ) was a beautiful and loving person who impacted many in the community. The Ascension Peace church  family was blessed to have her membership, her support and her ministry. She lives on through her beautiful and gifted family,  We thank God for her life.

We all should aspire as she has, to make a difference in our time here by being that positive influence to another person. The Walkers have always been the epitome of class and character. This loss leaves a true void, the likes of which cannot be refilled. My sincerest sorrows.

Grandma Walker was one of the nicest, most caring, most giving, and most loving people I ever knew.  I'm missing her a lot.
