Nancy and Family,
I am stunned and very saddened to hear of Nat's death. When I had dinner and an evening with you both last year, it seemed as if he had recovered well from his treatments. As a very longtime friend, Nat and I crossed paths many times over the years and made an effort to stay in touch.  We shared our grief at Harry's (Haskill's) passing and reminisced about fun times the three of us had shared.  Nat was a loyal friend, always warm and kind.  It was always a pleasure to listen to him play the piano.  He did it with such passion and enthusiasm, with a great smile on his face.  I will miss him and my visits to FL will not be the same without him there.  Nancy, you were truly blessed to have him in your life.  I still prepare potato salad from his father's recipe, and its still the best. My condolences to you all.

I moved to Hewlett about 6 months before Nat.  We first met when my team played his in Little League.  "Who is that new kid pitching for the Reds," is what we wanted to know.  We found out alright, the hard way, if you know what I mean.  But, there was nothing "hard" about Nathan Tack.  During the next few years, we were among a bunch of regulars who met most afternoons and weekends for a game of whatever sport was in season and some that we plain made up.  I have come to appreciate more and more how special those years were. School-yard friends, what a time we had. That's what Nat and I were back then, and, that's what we still were a lifetime later when we reconnected on social media.  My condolences, Richard Cohen

I may have been 10 months older than Nat, but even in high school he had a maturity that rivaled many others. I remember him being upstanding, bright, and someone who would watch your back. Heaven is lucky to have him.

Nat was 1 day older than me and our friendship began when we realized that our Bar-Mitzvah's fell on the same day. Even though all our mutual friends went to his, we still maintained a long friendship. He was my favorite musician and brought music appreciation to my life. He was a great friend and I send his family my deepest thoughts.

My best friend when I first moved to Hewlett in 1959 (and his dad's deli - Nathan's - was on my corner in Forest Hills).  Keep the memories close, and family closer.  My most sincere condolences to the family.

I have only the warmest memories of Nat. He was an inspiration to my early love of music. I'll always  remember him with friendship and gratitude.

28 years ago today (June 2, 1985) my Mom and Dad got married in a beautiful backyard wedding at our house in Windsor, CT. Love you mom and dad. I know my dad's spirit is with her especially today and shining as bright as ever. XOXO
