Pamela Gidget Daly

On February sixth, 2022, our beautiful angel, Pamela Gidget Daly went home to the Lord. Gidget, was a fun loving, free spirited, beach enthusiast that never missed an opportunity to soak up the rays of the sun and inhale the intoxicating freshness of the salty ocean air. She was everything to us, and we were everything to her. She was the light that brightened our days, and the glow that moonlit our nights.

Gidget graced everyone with her presence on Feb. 17th, 1968, in Columbus GA., and since then the world has not been the same. The saying, “she lit up the room whenever she walked in,” does not even give her justice. She was the life of the party, and when it ended, there always was a great story to tell regarding her.

Gidget had many passions, which included, not only the beach, but being a mother, a wife, a cool sister, and last, but certainly not least, a dedicated teacher. She worked extremely hard to earn her bachelor’s degree from Troy State University. She loved being an educator at Mirror Lake Elementary school in Plantation Florida. It made her feel so good every day to see her student’s faces light up when they knew the answer to something she had just previously taught them. She never missed an opportunity to give them a big hug when they needed it, or a prize simply because she felt they’ve earned it. She also loved the people she with whom she worked. Her team, her administration, and her students became her instant life-long friends, and she never missed an opportunity to help one of them out, or hang out with them socially, whenever she could.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Gwen and Merit Adams, and is survived by her loving husband, Tim of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., her beautiful children, Chace Helms and Chelci Helms of Daytona Beach Fl., her loving step-children, Michael, Samantha, and Shannon Daly of Vero Beach, Fl., her devoted brother and sister in law Jeremy and Sherri Adams of Huntsville Al and her treasured niece and nephew, Tyler Adams and Ayden Adams of Huntsville, AL..

A visitation for Pamela will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022 at12:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. A funeral service will occur Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM. And a committal service will follow at 3:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
