Pereto was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica on January 30,1952 to Winston and Mazey Williams. He graduated from Siloah High School, attended Canewood College and later Mico's Teacher's Training College. He interned at Petersfield Primary School and taught at Aberdeen All Age School and Maggoty High School in Jamaica prior to migrating to Florida.
He worked various jobs to further his education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Atlantic University. Pereto worked as a Data Systems Analyst for First Data until his retirement in 2019.
He was an avid reader who read the newspaper daily and enjoyed visiting different libraries and discovering different books. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home @ Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, US, on October 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, and a Committal Service from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the same location.
