Phillip L. Paul of Lighthouse Point passed away on Father’s Day Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the age of 76. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to Leo and Margaret Paul. He is survived by his children, Phillip Paul; son, Scott Paul; son, Renee Snodgrass; daughter, Lauren Pipken; daughter, Kimberly Harp; daughter, and Dawn Honeycutt, daughter (deceased). He leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren as well as loving, nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served eight years. Phillip’s life was momentous as he was an avid fisherman, boater and captain; he enjoyed spending time traveling to the islands and Mexico. He worked as fireman for the Warren Fire Department in the 1960’s and later owned and operated a chrome plating company for over 30 years. Life is about what you give to the world and not what you take away, and Phillip has been a wonderful influence in all our lives he will be truly missed but never forgotten.

I miss you more today than I did yesterday. I miss our talks and our time together. I try not to cry as much as I did when I first lost you but it does not take the pain away. You are my father and had a true understanding of me. I love you so much from RENEE MICHELLE PAUL.
