Phyllis M. Curtis

Curtis, Phyllis M. age 70 of Lighthouse Point, FL went to be with her Lord on May 18th, 2014. Born in Bridgeport , CT she had been a longtime local resident. A lover of music, Phyllis developed deep friendships with many musicians and played the hand bells and sang in her church choir. As a real estate broker, she had many friends in the real estate community. Her talent for cooking was enjoyed by countless who enjoyed her hospitality around her tables. She had a heart for animals and supported humane organizations. She is survived by her longtime best friend, Ray Narushko; by cousins: Patty and John Fallender , Elaine and George McClean, and Kevin Olson; by her aunt, Jesse Olson; by her faithful friends: Daisy and Sweet Potato; and by a multitude of friends who loved her dearly. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00am on Saturday, May 24th with an 11:00am funeral service at: New Presbyterian Church, 512 NE 26th Street, Wilton Manors, FL 33305. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 W. Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Joy of Music or the Humane Society.
