Hey Dad,
Words can't express how much I will miss you. You taught your sons how to be great husbands, fathers, grandpas & great grandpas for their families. I loved playing cards with you, but wished you taught me how to beat you at cards, because I never could. You and Mom accepted me into your family over 53 years ago and the memories are endless and I will always cherish.
As you were leaving this earth and I was standing by the bed holding your hand, I knew you were walking into Jesus' arms; and soon thereafter you would experience the joy of seeing Mom again. When I join you in Heaven, I can't wait to hear you say, "Hey Barb, how are you doing?", as you said each time we spoke on the phone.
Love you Dad & miss you so. I know you are in a better place and stairs are no longer a struggle.
God Bless and keep!!
Your daughter-in-law(love)
Barb

Dad,
You are missed more than you know, but I know we will get together again. You taught me many things over my 71 years. One thing is what a family should be. You led and were the head of a family that loved and enjoyed each other. We always enjoyed getting together whether it was playing basketball at Larry's house, square dancing, playing cards, taking trips, or having one of our famous family reunions that would attract relatives from as far away as CA. We always had a blast and I am now looking forward to one with you and Mom with Jesus.

I love you Dad!!

We will miss hearing Dick's jovial laughter, his friendly smile, and his genuine unselfish interest in how our day is going. He was the neighbor that everyone could only wish they had. We ask the God give strength to his family. And that the wonderful memories he created with everyone who met him help ease the loss.
