ANDERSON, Robert H., 95, of Tamarac, passed away June 23, 2014. He developed a legacy of hard work, sports enthusiasm and many different activities throughout his life. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Navy, worked over 30 years as a machinist manufacturing carbide tools to very close tolerances, was a volunteer fireman in Newington, Ct. for many years, moved to Florida from Connecticut and then worked outside in property landscaping. Along the way, he fathered three children with his lifelong love and wife Eleanor. Many of his neighbors in Tamarac enjoyed years of his bingo calling on a weekly basis. To many, Robert was an inspiration having been a double amputee, losing both of his legs and being able to golf, bowl and be active. He was an American patriot who waved a flag in his front yard all of his life. May he rest in peace.
