Robert F. Pastor, "Bob of Deerfield Beach and formally of Rockville Centre, NY passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 at the age of 85. He was born on April 24, 1927 in Elizabeth, NJ and raised in Staten Island, NY. Bob is survived by his loving wife Eleanor, a daughter Michel Louise Engeke, sons Robert W. and Raymond Scott, also surviving are grandchildren Cricket, Max, Grady, and Cole. Bob taught American History at Valley Stream South high school in NY. where he was a varsity and JV Football coach and JV girls softball coach. Bob served his country with the US Marine Corps. He was a Past District Deputy for BPOE, Pompano Beach Lodge # 1898. He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW, Hanseaten Club of NY, he was a charter member of the American Astronautical Society, Deerfield Beach Softball Club where he played on many championship teams.
