Theresa J. Correll, age 97, gently passed away at home on Thursday, April 23, 2020 in Deerfield Beach, Florida. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, May 21, 1922, daughter of the late Fred and Lucille Finelli. Her siblings, Mary Lent, Christine Calo, Antoinette Aveni, Hilda March, Joseph Finelli, and Peter Finelli, preceded her in death.
She retired from the Fort Lauderdale Police Department in 1984. She loved music and loved to sing. She will be remembered for her kindness, beautiful voice, beautiful spirit, and beautiful smile.
Theresa will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda Doughty and her husband Dan of Deerfield Beach, Florida, daughter Diana Correll of Calabasas, California, son, Clifford Correll of Coconut Creek, Florida; Grandchildren, Scott Richie and wife Robin, Jason Doughty, Danielle Zeth and her husband James; Great Granddaughters Taylor Richie and Mia Zeth, Great Grandsons Nicholas Richie, Natanel and Samuel Ichak, and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 28th at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 200 W. Copans Road, Pompano Beach, Florida 33064.
