Trevor Deoraj Jaggernauth was born on May 16th, 1960, in Trinidad & Tobago to the parents of Deo and Shirley Jaggernauth. He went home to be with the Lord on November 3rd, 2014. He is survived by his wife Mala Jaggernauth of 31 years marriage, daughter Keria and two sons Kerron and Kriston, granddaughter Kira Kissoon, son- in- law, Donald Kissoon and daughter- in- law, Davika Jaggernauth. Brothers: Davy, Tony, Allan, Ian. Sisters: Pamela (deceased) Neila, Anna, Carol, Gina, and Naila. Brother-in-law of Rajin, Victor, Arnold, Adrian, Kiam, Hassan, Assad, Merlin, Rena, Kamala. Uncle of many and friends too numerous to mention. Trevor came from a huge family of ten siblings and he was the third eldest. At a very early age he took care of his younger siblings when his Mom became ill. That was the foundation that led him to become the most loving, empathic, genuine and humble man that he was.
Trevor was a man who loved his family more than anything that life had to offer. For Trevor the act of living was about being the best role model for his wife, children, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. His family always sought his wisdom and intellect as his love for them showed through his actions over the years. His passion for helping others was what he lived for the most and his heart would be overjoyed in seeing others fulfill their dreams. He encouraged the lives of many by inspiring them to excel in their education and He would often fill the role of coach, bringing out the best in everyone. Trevor was an overachiever who thrived to excel in furthering his education and started his own company called M-Task. He graduated from Tranquility High School, and then furthered his education obtaining two AS degrees one in Civil Engineering and the other in Building Construction Technology at Broward College, BS degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, and finally his MS degree in Construction Management from Florida International University. He exceled and loved his job as a Civil Engineer. Trevor was a sports fanatic, he enjoyed watching sports from football, cricket to golf and tennis just to name a few and even if it was two snails running a race he would watch. He was imaginative, authentic, loving and easy to get along with.
Trevor came from a humble upbringing he fought and preserved hard to achieve his goals and dreams as nothing was given to him on a “silver platter.” Trevor loved the Lord with all his heart. He fought long and hard to get what he wanted out of life, but the only thing that he ever really wanted was the love and respect of his family and friends…for his efforts will forever live on in our hearts and we will all cherish those priceless memories. In the end, he knew that all of his efforts had not been in vain. He will always be remembered by the people whose lives he touched.
“Trevor fought a good fight, he kept the faith, and he won the race!”
