He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lisa (Giusto) formerly of Waterbury, CT, his two daughters, Gianna and Makayla, his sisters, Suzy (the late Khatchik) Khatchikian of Boca Raton, Annie (Varouj) Jabrayan of Delray Beach, and Rosen (the late George) Kapanjian of Lebanon, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Talyne, who is surely welcoming him home with open arms.
Nick was born in Beirut, Lebanon, December 30, 1944. He was the son of the late Abraham and Arine Jacmacjian. After immigrating to the USA, he met the love of his life, Lisa. They married in 1979, and together they founded East Coast Services, Inc, an air-conditioning and refrigeration business in Pompano Beach, FL.
Nick was a very kind and generous person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a devoted husband and hard working businessman, faithfully serving his customers alongside Lisa for the past 40 years. He enjoyed boating and fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. He was the proud father who would attend every equestrian horse competition, dance recital, and school ceremony with a smile. Nothing thrilled him more than having family get togethers at his house, enjoying dinner at his favorite restaurants, and making memories together while traveling. Everyone who met him became an instant friend. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him and everyone who ever had the pleasure of enjoying a good laugh with him.
A visitation for Nick will be held Friday, June 28, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
The funeral service will occur Saturday, June 29, 2019 also at Kraeer Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 AM. A committal service will follow Saturday at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Nick’s name may be made to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation at oif.org. This organization was close to his heart, as his nieces are living with this brittle bone disease.
