My sister and I were alike, when ever we had a argument. I always told her that we took after our dad. An she knew that I was right. An our brother Mike, was just like our mother. But there were good times, and bad. She would always tell people, this is my little brother. She always looked out for me, more so, after my accident and losing most of my vision. There came a time when I knew I had to move on with my own life and she had to move on with Steve, her husband, and not worry about me any more. I reassured her that I would be alright, and besides, Leslie, her daughter would be near by, and she was only a phone call away.
I could also call on Aaron at any time, Yvonne didn't need to worry because her daughter and son would always be looking out for me too.
I think after losing Steve, Yvonne lost a big part of herself, and a sence of direction, and being needed. So 3 or 4 times a year, she would drive to Florida and stay with Scott, Leslie, Scotty and Katie and take over the house. Making dinner each night and doing everything possible just to keep herself busy.
My sister always in control, anything and everything was laid out and planned. Even in her final days, she sat and knitted or crow shade gifts. Because that was my sister.
She doesn't need to make a fuss, or worry any more. It's time for her to rest. Even though I really never told her, I will miss and always love my sister.

First day of first grade at St. Francis Yvonne and I became friends and remained so these many decades. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her heart and soul. Goodbye, dear friend. You are free of pain, at peace and with Steve. Deepest condolences and love to her family.

Our condolences to Yvonne's family, we are so very sorry for your loss. I've known Yvonne since 3rd grade, and always enjoyed seeing her at the annual St. Francis School reunions. Just this summer, we celebrated 50 yrs of our 8th grade graduation. Yvonne loved talking about her family, her kids and grandkids were her pride and joy! It is with great sadness that she is gone. It is comforting to know that she is no longer in pain and is again reunited with Steve, who she missed terribly. May God Bless you all and give you peace and comfort during this sad time. Yvonne, you will be missed, RIP. Love, Marlene & Fred Charnoky
