OBITUARY

Boyce Grisham

March 19, 1942December 30, 2018

Boyce “Tuck” Grisham, age 76, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at NMMC in Tupelo. He was born March 19, 1942 to Cladius Herring Grisham and Morris Grisham. He was a member of Bethany Primitive Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Boyce was retired from MDOT where he worked in maintaince. He enjoyed attending church and fellowshipping at the Blue Springs Store and O’Neil’s Store in New Albany.

Services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Bethany Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Larry Wise officiating; burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his two daughters, Cheryl Newsom (Randy) and Sherry Bonds (Jeff) both of Blue Springs, MS; and a son, Gary Grisham (Betty) of Pontotoc, MS; four sisters, Sarah Cockrell, Loretta Robbins and Linda Faye Cook, all of New Albany, MS and Teresa Burks of Hickory Flat, MS; two brothers, Jimmy Grisham and Ricky Grisham, both of New Albany, MS; three grandchildren, Michael McDaniel, Jamie Christian and Brittany Houston (Andy); and three great grandchildren, Maggie Kate Houston, Cason Houston and Daniel Nagy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mable Grisham, and a sister, Barbara Ann Grisham.

Pallbearers will be Mick Cook, Jacob Cook, Terry Gaines, Daniel Inmon, Rusty Wise, Keith Grant, Will Grant and Andy Houston.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday and from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, all at Bethany Primitive Baptist Church.
