She was married to LA Turner, and they made their home in Houlka, Ms. They had one daughter, Niva Rena Turner. She attended Beckham school and was employed by the Indianapolis Glove Factory for 39 years. Her life reflected her faith shown in the way she loved others, offered comfort in difficult times, and found joy in the simplest blessings. Through her famous tea cakes, a sweet word of encouragement, or a silent prayer. Her bible was well-worn, her prayers constant and her trust in God never wavered. She found great joy in her family and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Rena Holloway (Don). Her Grandchildren, Jeffrey Baker (Michelle), Dallas Collier (Ivan), Kristy Duke (Tommy), and Greg Baker (Merisa). 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband LA Turner. Her brothers Neal, Rad, and Enoch Corder. Sisters Mary Harman Robertson, Gwendola McCoy, Lounette Wages, and Nellie Rose Morrison.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 3rd at Browning Funeral Home from 12 to 2 and the service at 2. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery but will have no graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Ritchie Little, Evan Little, Sunny Corder, Harry Neal Corder, Tommy Duke, Greg Baker and Ivan Collier.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for Donations to be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo Mississippi.
