Lucile F. Cross, age 90, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Graceland Care Center in Oxford, MS. A native of Piedmont, AL she is survived by two sisters, Lois Freeman and Ruth Grant; two sons, Wayne Cross (Suzy) Merritt Island, FL and Ronnie Cross (Konnie) of Yantis, TX; two daughters: Sandra Crowe (Tom) of Oxford, MS and Janis Cross (David Boyles) of Greensboro, NC; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held in Birmingham, AL at a later date. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the local arrangements.
