Faye Dillard Brown

Faye Dillard Brown, age 86, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at her residence in Huntsville, AL. She was born January 2, 1934 to Wesley Hobert and Jettie Estelle Witt Dillard. Faye was a graduate of Sherman High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Anaheim 1st Southern Baptist Church. Faye enjoyed homemaking, flower gardening and bird watching.

Services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc with Rev. Philip Brock officiating; burial will follow in the Pontotoc Memorial Gardens. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the family with the arrangements. Due to COVID 19, and in accordance with the CDC guidelines, social distancing and mask are required.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Eddie Eugene Brown; two daughters, Peggy Sue Brown-Elliott and Carolyn Dianne Brown; one son, Thomas Edward Brown; four grandchildren, Sean Patrick Smith, Erin Patricia Green, Jennifer Renee Smith and Jessica Anne Garcia; five great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Opaline Cochran.

Pallbearers will be Robert “Buddy” Cochran, Lindsey Cochran, Roger Baker, Sammy Sewell, Jody Sewell, Gene Baker and Reid Graham.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
