

Flossie Vaughn, age 81, died Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Flossie had worked at Michael’s Department Store, Ram Golf , Maria’s Fashions and was retired from the MS State Extension Service.
Services will be at 2 PM Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Jones and Rev. Johnathan Baker officiating; burial will follow in the Ecru Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include a daughter: Regina McGreger (Barry) of Friendship; son: Mike Montgomery (Teresa) of Algoma, MS; a sister: Linda Joyce Voyles (Fred) of Pontotoc, MS; three granddaughters: Dana Harlow (Jason), Tiffany Stegall (John) and Jill Foster (Scott); six great-grandchildren: Jack Harlow, Eli Harlow, Kyle Stegall, Sophie Stegall, Michael Scott Foster and Preston Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jessie S. Andrews and Tennie Tucker Andrews; her husband of 29 years, Howard Montgomery, the father of her children; and her husband of 31 years: Charles Edward Vaughn; two brothers: James Lowell Andrews and Jessie Andrews, Jr.
Pallbearers will be: Travis Jenkins, Ray Voyles, Joe Cayson, Brian Carter, Wiley Jenkins, Bobby Voyles, and Seth Sutton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Saturday and from 12 to 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
