Gerald Quay Bullard

Gerald Quay “Pappy” Bullard, age 88, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026. He was born June 30, 1938, to Arthur Dueal “Red” and Velma Estelle Hale Bullard. Pappy attended Pleasant Dale Baptist Church. He was a retired air-conditioner technician and a retired truck driver. Pappy enjoyed visiting with friends and telling stories, working mules, and dancing.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church, with Rev. Don Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Sand Springs Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home is honored to assist the Bullard family with the arrangements.

Survivors include his two granddaughters, Sandy Johnson and Tammy Cook, his aunt, Ruthie Garrison, great-grandsons, Dylan Johnson and Nathan Colburn, great-granddaughters, Caitlyn Gillespie and Courtney McDowell, nephew, Riggen Bullard (April), and great-nephew, Quintin Bullard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Michael Bullard, grandson, Dalton Bullard, and brother and sister-in-law, Travis “Trab” and Brenda Bullard.

Pallbearers will be Riggen Bullard, Quintin Bullard, Phil Robbins, Robby Graham, Ted Graham, Andy Robbins, and Nicky Walker.
